Time would stand still…..
So that I could hold on to some fleeting
moments of life and love.
People would disappear…
So that I can be myself and learn
to be me when they are around.
The world would come to an end…
So that we can start afresh
And not bother about the dark past.
We could live and let live…
And trust others to take care of themselves
and them, us.
